as for this, it is a beautiful shot, but for some reason that butterfly and the white space on the top REALLY bugs me (no pun intended) if thats totally untouched and it was part of the picture then i would worry since the butterfly looks like it would be easily a foot in diameter... but also i would just crop it at the top of the building.
other than that little nit picking i really enjoy the colors and textures that contrast and compliment each other in this shot, its very beautiful and i hope i can go there myself some day!
i just adore the colours. ah, the colours. seemed like you had a grand time in europe, eh? heh-heh. this has perfect composition. [and along with the butterfly up there! i think it's a nice touch and i'm glad you didn't leave it out...]
lol yes, just to clear this up -- it's a metal butterfly stuck onto a white concrete part of the house. how or why they did it, i have no idea. but it looks neat.
